Editable, reflecting ripple water + new shiny - that's going to be wild. I wonder if dynamic reflections will be improved from what they morphed into, and if all this will be settings choices - so people with low-end or old systems are not shut out. We are moving towards the day when hardware and bandwidth as commonly held will actually support Second Life, and although we aren't there yet it wouldn't make sense to do other than what LL are doing - that is, push ahead without trying to make SL accessible to everyone. I believe that A) the number of people with computers able to run SL is going up rapidly, and B) people who already know the way to SL can always return if they have interest, time, hardware, and hear good things, and C) SL will go up and down in the media and public view as does almost everything.
