I got to Grignano today only to see a horrible sight - someone crashed a car into the plate glass window and glass was everywhere. I don't think anyone was hurt - but here's the thing. The winning photo from the DANCE exhibit is missing. I wasn't sure the two things were related until I saw the tape from that security camera I put in the other day.

I thought, at first, that there was just one person in the video -- but there are TWO people in that footage. A brief frame shows them both at the same time. This was not done by a lone thief.
One is forced to wonder whether the security cameras have been catching a general Rise in criminal activities, or are just better documenting crimes that might otherwise go unreported, or attributed to inventory issues. I hardly like to think that those responsible for installing the cameras might have any connection to the perpetrators themselves...
What? I'm just - what do you mean? I installed the camera - what do you mean "connection" - I didn't want this theft to take place.
You can't just waltz in here and make anonymous remarks accusing me in a round-about way of knowing the thieves. I had nothing to do with it.
As for catching this on tape - I think it was just lucky. I bet they cased the place before the camera was installed.
A good point, though, about the inventory and missing prim issues - I never thought about that.
