I do like the Golden Pound Principle, for every dollar Comic Relief gets from the public, a dollar goes to whatever cause they are supporting. That is, if they raise 10 million dollars in red nose sales, 10 million dollars goes toward social service. None of that money is spent on administration fees or stuff like that.
