Criticizing Philip Massinger (as a playwright who failed to bring his own dramatic characters to life), T.S.Eliot described Hamlet as "living" even if he is not "real". As a living character, Hamlet's inner conflict, motivation and inability to act reflect those of young men in every age, in all lands. I have known so many Hamlets, but few declaim as believably as this young man, who inhabits the Unhappy Prince's character! We may be lucky to see him on the stage one day. What a lovely discovery.
