It's Entropia Universe time, again.
I decided I'd better log in to see the changes. I had to remake my avatar again - third time since I started at PE. The first avatars were horrid-looking, and I had cool sticky-up green hair that got in the way of my aim, so when the chance to make a new av came up I changed it - but stupidly missed the bizarro look. The avs now are much better but customisation is within the normal range only and the hair just blows. I was given a special oldbie beret (note: even the beret decays). Here I am at Fort Ithaca (where I logged off last year), too tired after making my avatar to want to play.

Now *that* is a good look... I bet there's no server lag to ruin the effect once you beam in and it takes 5 mins for all your body parts to appear :(

p.s. Does entropia cost anything to play?

p.p.s. /me stops being lazy and googles it...

p.p.p.s. I'm not sure... it says FREE, but I'm guessing that is basic and I can't find anything else out.

It's expensive if you want to do anything - a lot of research is necessary to avoid getting scammed by the sociopathic inhabitants, everything decays at a fast clip, but about once a year I run around and try to avoid getting killed by the many monsters or other players. I used to like shooting mobs but the expense of ammo + decay, the little worth of loot, and the lag that sometimes means you can't loot or get killed = eh. But once a year it's a vacation.
