One day Quasimodo was up in the bell tower of Notre Dame when his rope broke and in a fit of desperation, he ran to headbutt the bell. Unfortunately, the blow sent him reeling and he fell out of a window to his death on the city streets below.
Down below two Parisians were shocked to discover the somewhat splatted mortal remains of the poor unfortunate soul.
"Oh dear," said the first.
"Yes," the second, "do you know this man?"
"No," replied the first, "but his face rings a bell."
