This is the hand of my great-grandmother, who was reared by giant ravens. One of them ate part of two fingers, as you can see, but she still loved them until she died of circular fingerprints.

I believe that is "circular fingerprintitis." Saying that one could die from mere fingerprints alone is akin to saying one could die from an appendix.
