This may be an obvious observation, but that appears to be someone's face upside down with a banana in the mouth and the face painted on the forehead. Am I insane, or do you also think this is quite a lot of time spent on nothing?
His Flickr account has bazillions of these in video and still images. I'd say that possibly he has spent quite a lot of time making them. Or - wait - were you talking about the giant squid?
