Flummel entered her blog in a site that analyses it according to the Meyers-Briggs test, and because it looked like a fun 3.46 seconds I copied her. My results:
ISTP - The Mechanics
The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.
The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.
Flummel's explanation of the four letters:

Structure: In dealing with the outside world, do you prefer to get things decided or do you prefer to stay open to new information and options? This is called Judging (J) or Perceiving (P).

I don't have an internet blog, so I used the letter I wrote about the Great Erase that's on Salazar's Kahruvel web site. That Typealyzer web site pegged me as an I.S.F.P.:

That sounds just like you, Valdora. I'm not sure why Meyers-whatsit thinks artists put their families ahead of their work, though, as that isn't true.
Doesn't it though, Osprey? As far as putting family before work, perhaps that has more to do with whether their family supports their work or not. I know I'd be more inclined to put my work first if my family poo-pooed it. I always get a bee in my bonnet when someone tells me I can't do something!

Like Valdora I to appear to be ISFP. Suits me like a warm jacket on a blustery day, but what's this "They are not friends of many words"? How wrong can they be? Perhaps they mean to say, "generally prefers solitude and quiet but becomes as bavarde as a magpie around friends and frankly never know when to put a stocking in it, tends to chronic logorrhea and run-on sentences, has never learned the correct and apt use of the frequent full stop or period."
