Just Leap In
I was just at the Tuesday meeting.* I ALWAYS close without copying the chat, so I probably miss part and misremember the rest, and I brought up a lot of things, so here are a few:

The object limit is 30 different but a total of 50.
I asked them if we'd get the ability to see our space object numbers, and they said yes, that's in development, but they can't say when.
We'll be able to see various things on a side panel or something.
Salazar was unable to rez a portal and I reasoned he might've hit the object limit and that's why it wouldn't rez. Update: The problem is totally different so I was wrong-o. He can rez the portals, just not apply the links.

Locked portals not working: bug or feature?
The thumbnails on portals are too small. I never know where I'm going.

Uh... I forget anything else I said.

A way to have chat logs would be kind of nice especially since I look at my fingers when I hunt 'n' peck and miss parts of conversations.

Enjah, could you tell me again what happened when you tried to go in JLI?

* Notable comment: "Let's run over and flag one of Osprey's spaces as inappropriate.
" :-D

My fear is if I can't lock the portal down that someone may move it. The link should still work whether the portal object is locked or not. If I want to deactivate the link that should be a separate option.

That was me above. I am Anonymous, but I am not anonymous.

You are the Eponymous Dormous.

That is, the Enormouse, Eponymouse, Anonymouse Dormouse, as everyone knows.

*mutters something about what DID happen when I tried to go to the JLI (whatever that is)

OH OH OH you mean Just Leap In ... (not Justice League International, Jewish Learning Institute or Jessup and Lamont, Inc.) ... well, I could not leap because I did not have Firefox as my browser.

I downloaded Flash a billion times but I cannot run both IE and Firefox with Flash, because they have diff versions and will not allow both on one computer >:[

.. sudddeniciously I notice I was not really connecting the thought dots. In order to go to JLI I needed Firefox with a compatible Flash Player, and since in this household someone uses IE, I can't uninstall (unless I continually reinstall) Flash players all the time ... ugh what a lot of words.

But IE is supported. You downloaded the JLI plugin and it didn't do anything?

What version of IE do you have? I can run JLI simultaneously in IE and FF and Adobe gives a different Flash version for each.

Requirements:
Windows PC
OS: Windows XP or Vista
Memory: 1 GIG RAM or higher
Browser: Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 2 and 3
Ethernet: Fast broadband connection (wired/wireless)
DirectX 9.0c (the more cores, the better)
Graphics: nVidia GeForce 5500/equivalent or higher (pixel shader 2.0 capable)

Forgive me for pestering you - I'm just interested.

I want to ask for thoughts about improving the world -- what do people need? How can things be organised?
