Tagged by the Burro*

One is meant to post the entire list then pick out the books one has read, and tag five people. Hardly anyone reads this blog - so my tagging will merely be an exercise.

Bold = read
Bold and italicised means I loved it when I read it I love it now.
[I'm not sure how accurate that is - my picks for "OOOh I ♥love♥ this" are a bit forced in some cases. It would be easier to pick out the books I hated.

* I don't like memes but I do like the Burro, so I'll do it.
** Quite a cop-out using YOU! I know. Heh.

Comments:
"It was one of these mysterious fairy calls from out the void that suddenly reached Mole in the darkness, making him tingle through and through with its very familiar appeal, even while yet he could not clearly remember what it was. He stopped dead in his tracks, his nose searching hither and thither in its efforts to recapture the fine filament, the telegraphic current, that had so strongly moved him. A moment, and he had caught it again; and with it this time came recollection in fullest flood.

Home! That was what they meant, those caressing appeals, those soft touches wafted through the air, those invisible little hands pulling and tugging, all one way! Why, it must be quite close by him at that moment, his old home that he had hurriedly forsaken and never sought again, that day when he first found the river! And now it was sending out its scouts and its messengers to capture him and bring him in. "

Awww shucks, Da Burro liketh you too xx

Da Burro liketh memes too, as long as they are fun and have no "do it or else" caveats. Da Burro liketh these types because a) he can write silly things, and b) he is nosey about other folks :)

i need more categories...'may have read'....'started and discarded'...'saw the brit tv version'...'skimmed in 1 hr before test'...'read the cliff notes'...'read 1st and last chapter'...oh and i need a blog. Oh and how about 'read 5 times or more'!
Enjah thanks for the wonderful quote...we are so lucky that WITW wasn't translated into American for us like Harry Potter books were! -- Lucy

I find it quite interesting that Enjah's quote mentions the Void and a mole, all in the same breath.

I do not like being memed any more than the next INTJ/INTP, but I may have to make an exception in this case...

This is the last meme I did: http://wildburro.wordpress.com/2007/01/05/tag/

Like I say, I like to add my silliness :-D

I want to ask for thoughts about improving the world -- what do people need? How can things be organised?
