I was happily playing in the waves when I was sporked and told to write, not edit.
I interpret "font queen" as being like "drama queen" and that my silly VERY FONT-ORIENTED writing was not good enough for the project; I had not come up with anything to write, but wanted the novel to be true to the premise, that is, absurdly referring to formatting and type. In my opinion, cough drops did not fit, as they are neither.
I am not averse to collaboration, but I am averse to beign ordered to perform in a specific way. I always thought collaboration involved open, playful experimentation and suggestions.

That isn't what I said. I was saying "Write - don't *just* edit" as the more the better.

That is not what I meant. I was saying you know lots about fonts, and the piece would be right up your alley. And so you'd have good stuff to add.
