I know I'm a broken record, but this kind of thing horrifies me so I keep bringing it up:
"A setting on Emerald makes it print when scripts come and go. Avatars have 100 or 400 or 500 scripts on them when they TP on and off! Those big numbers print almost every time a simulator hangs up. People that make attachments have to think harder"
"my wife bought this hair the other day... 220 prims, no copy, no mod, no transfer, resizer script.
... wearing it she cant teleport anywhere. too many scripts in it."
"Yes one of the free resizers is horrible. 0.5 milliseconds per attachment."

I don't really know much about this, but through blogs like your I've gradually stopped wearing everything scripted bar an emote - I hope I can carry on with that as I love some emotion on my otherwise frozen mush :-D
There's nothing wrong with having a reasonable amount of scripted attachments; there are some, however, that are scripted beyond all reason. In some cases the scripts aren't removeable.
Personally, I wouldn't buy something no-mod unless I made a mistake or needed it for a very narrow usage, but currently some creators are duping their customers by advertising things as mod, when in fact they aren't mod but only contain scripts to change prim parameters.
