looks like you've given up mentioning when they go off, and just announce now the rare occasions when they come on! the bicycle powered computer is such a great invention!

Well, there was a terrific windstorm and although my power didn't go out then it flickered a lot. The next morning driving to see Frank the power was out to the traffic signals on a very busy intersection (something like 12 lines of cars jockeying for position). I came home and it went out for some hours, which was fine as I could tell it had been sort of damaged/diminished as the net was not getting sufficient power to allow it to work. They repaired it and everything came on including internet.
