i tried one of the last batch of new avies, before this bunch, the businesswoman or something like that, and she had nice undies, which were non removable. big loss of sales for SL clothing designers there!

Not a loss - it just makes people buy skins. However, there's a difference between underwear and X-treme, sewn-on, Mormon underwear.
Wouldn't you be startled if you were new and you, say decided to wear a bathing suit and discovered you were neck-to-knee covered?
Yes, you can still buy a skin, but the sheer peculiarity of it would give you pause. I wouldn't assume, after seeing that, that nakedness would be possible.
