My niece and her family are in Brisbane but somewhat in the hills, so although they are *right there* they are all right. When will the rain stop? There are some wild YouTube videos of people's flash flood experiences, including the one of the cars being washed away outside a building (their owners were not there to move them).

A says, "The city is of Brisbane is going to cop it today and peaking tomorrow. We should be safe, far enough away. CBD shut down. Grocery stores have run out of most necessities. Bugger I cld only get horrid long life soy milk."
