Blazing Speed

This just in: SL's ordinary customers have just discovered projected textures (which debuted two years ago, I think).

Just a quick illustration:

I haven't played around with it much - last time I did it was on KLee's viewer a couple of years ago.

There's a box for a texture on the light pane; that texture is projected.

but what does it do? do you mean the normal/planar/etc thing? that's way older than 2 years, it's been there when i was still active in sl

No - the texture acts like a slide being projected so it can be projected onto other objects.

It was pre-2 - I'm not sure which viewers have it.
