Candide sent me this url to footage of Chernobyl disaster shot by a filmmaker unaware of the danger he was in.
Watching this is hard. Those poor men.

If I didn't know that this happened in 1986, I would have guessed that this had been filmed maybe fifty years earlier, before much was known about radiation. The Soviets not only condemned these people to their death, they did it in barbaric and primitive conditions.
