SL Men

A random trio of SL men.

I've been working on a machinima piece for something like a year (very slowly, and no nothing has been filmed yet). I decided to spend eight minutes looking at men's clothing for Anchor and teleported directly to a shop full of (for some reason) underwear. It was well done, but... it seemed odd. In general, after looking at men's clothing for five or possibly seven minutes I have to say most of it would not suit men without a strong feminine element to their personalities. Or maybe it would appeal to theatre types.

I hate shopping for men's clothes. That's why I'm always in the same gear - I just can't go through that pain again and again and again...

Dressing Bryce has been hard - there are no good 1940s/50s suits out there - lots of Victorian (ranging from "male" to "flamboyant pirate"), quite a few Edwardian and then a huge jump to more modern suits (unless you count Zoot suits, which I don't). I honestly thought it would be easy given the popularity of the Mad Men TV show but unless you are a lass looking for the perfect 1950 starlet or office sec. look forget it :(

Gawd I HATE shopping for anything. I've actually never shopped for shoes ever in SL. Every once in a great while I stir my stumps but it's always for a film character.

It's hugely time-consuming even with expensive tools. For biggie clothing, that is. Tiny clothing is easy - it's just like building anything.

judging by the astounding amount of clothing for sale for biggie females, i just figured it must be way easy and loads of fun!
maybe once you make one thing it's easy to make variations.
