It's surprising to me the enthusiasm people seem to have, as if there had been no gap of ten years. That seems like a long time to me.

A lot of these people were very young in 2001, too. I find the nationalistic fervor somewhat repulsive, frankly. Plus, such joy in someone being killed is not my style. It is revenge, a popular motive, and a very understandable one, but it does not give me pleasure. On the other hand, if it slows down the Islamists, that would be great.
