This photo and the one of the interesting lake weeds look like toy landscapes. Are you using some app to produce that effect?

Yes! I'm using Camera+ which has a miniaturise effect! I am sorry I called Camera+ 'lame' - I must've been in a churlish mood. I use it a lot because it has a timer, which I need (one hand + fingers drag all over since I can't really always control them) and white balancing, effects, and a nice lightbox viewer.
