I feel so sad for this man and woman:
A Bothell man may have shot his wife to death because she was suffering from a serious medical condition, according to court documents released by the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
The man, 54, called 911 Wednesday afternoon to tell police he had just shot his wife and needed an ambulance at their home.
The man's adult son told detectives his mother had been ill for some time, and his father had been caring for her for several years. According to court papers, the man's wife had asked him to shoot her months earlier, but his daughter had told him not to.
"The male calling party ... stated that he could not stand it anymore and also stated that he was sorry," the husband reportedly told 911. He later told detectives his wife had fallen asleep on the couch and he had sat next to her for several hours before killing her.
