So...

My brain MRI was completely normal. My neck MRI was completely abnormal. Dr C thinks I may have Devic's Disease aka Neuromyelitis Optica. Somehow I have to muster the energy to have a bloodtest.
Right now I feel 99% dead.
The other thing he thinks it might be is Lyme Disease.
Dr C: of course I'm from Liverpool but neither of us has much of an accent.
Me: We like to fly under the radar.

I haven't been diagnosed yet, O hasty girl. If it's NMO nothing much I'd assume. In any event my spinal cord is fucked. If it's NMO it's better than MS in that it kills you by making breathing difficult.

I have a friend in Ohio who was diagnosed with MS for a multitude of years and then the experts discovered that she had Lyme Disease about 5 years ago. I just hope that you find the truth and that it leads toward better health.

I’m glad they are scrutinizing you more thoroughly with their scanners, probes and sensors. I hope that you get better, more finely-tuned, answers and action plans. AND that they can help!
