For some unknown reason there are things I like reading about, and am interested in, but have no interest at all in actually doing. For instance, I like reading baseball history, but have no interest in either recent baseball or playing baseball.
EVE Online fits into that category, and I've been watching and reading about the trinity upgrade and the even more exciting Ambulation project. Why is it exciting to me when I don't want to play the game? It has something to do with liking and being familiar with creative processes, and being interested in how a company tackles artistic problems.
TenTonHammer has a fascinating (to me) video of a presentation by EVE artist Ben Mathis HERE.

I never pay attention to anything, so although Dreamhost added this in March 07 it has just percolated into my consciousness today. They have a Darwin Streaming Server and stream Quicktime! W00ty!

O.o
My computer men called me out of the blue about 20 minutes ago and said they had put in for a replacement card and would come out and swap the cards as soon as it arrived (next week). Yay!

Holy Moley!
They finally got around to making a Wa He Lut website - well, I hope they are mid-process as it is just chock full of things I made that don't link anymore, like our Virtual Moviehouse of animations the children made. The lobby is there but you can't actually see the movies.
I was looking for Josie's animated gif butterfly, as the one on this blog is borked, however that's not visible. The children had made some very cool gifs, too. Christy's skull with a snake that went in and out the eyesockets comes to mind.
