The first Constructed Clash event to prepare for the Combat Cards tournament is Sunday 7 October at 2PM SLT @ Europa Combat Cards Arenas. Dueling with Combat Cards, the trading card game, requires strategy and concentration, but the basics are easy to learn. Every Sunday at 2pm Doc Boffin and I hold an event at the arenas in Europa - this coming Sunday will be more important than usual as we are helping fighters prepare to compete for the Constructed Cup on 28 October. We will be helping people build their decks, and at each event one card will be given to each participant.
The deadline is 15 October at midnight. By that time, to be eligible to 10,000L in prize money you must have fought at least ten Constructed League fights. Constructed League fights are fought using decks you build yourself from cards purchased from a Combat Cards vendor.
The events on 28 October includes the fight for the Constructed Cup and 10kL, the Open Cup for fighters using demo decks with cards as the prize, and a third in which any fighters present can fight each other using constructed decks. The high scorer at the end of that event wins 2500L and a prize of cards. Spur-of-the-moment types should turn up with weapons sharpened.
As Doc said: “The Open competition is really heating up with lots of people playing lots of games with free demo decks, but we’re also going to invite the top 4 players with 10 games played in the Constructed League to compete for the Constructed Cup and 10,000L$ and this competition is still wide open, with only Osprey currently qualifying!
