Glitch sign font change
I popped in as I heard the uproar from way over here. People say it's fuzzy and no improvement. I have to agree. It's less... in keeping and more intrusive, but only by a handful of degrees.
Update: TS fixed it.

Oh, I do love letter presses (in fact I love almost any kind of press and I miss the Takach press I bought for my program at Wa He Lut) and HERE's an app that's probably great fun (but I'll never find out).

When Ludicorp announced Game Neverending was ending they said, "But take a look at our spiffy brand-new photo-sharing site called Flikr!"So I joined Flickr, which was Good, and so I was disheartened when stupid Yahoo bought Ludicorp. But oh well, life went on, and now it's being bruited about that Yahoo has cut the Flickr workr force and may sell it to Microsoft or someone. I may be alone in not minding Microsoft but despising Yahoo. If Yahoo were a font it might be, oh... Comic Sans (i.e. just horrible and universally despised). Microsoft would be Arial (i.e. a knock-off). AOL would be... uh... Papyrus (never greeted with a smile) or maybe Westwood (annoyingly ugly).
If I were a font which would I be? Probably one that is irritatingly unreadable, made by an amateur, and rarely used. Becross? Kaela? Boron?

ZOMG *faints*
Molly sent me the url for LetterCult's top custom letters of 2009 as they see it. I love lettering, and bad kerning or other things can make my eyes cross. In the olden days it was necessary to completely redo things, most of the time, if a problen was noticed or a change needed. Now it's easy - but lettering isn't better - it has machine-type errors (bad kerning) plus I see the same fonts over and over and over ad infinitum. It's refreshing to see some custom lettering by masters.

I just watched "This Filthy World," a John Waters movie. It was very funny, and at the end the font made me think of Coiled Uncial (similar but not the same), so then I had to go and play around in Photoshop. I've never used that font but have always liked it. One day it will be exactly right for a project.
Fonts... mmmmmmmm...
