Talking to Atomic in the Carden
I met Patty and we went over some additions and discussed prim limits a bit. We can keep this within our prim budget if we don't go too crazy. Although everyone always wants more prims it's a cool puzzle to fit everything within the parcel limits.

Art tested the car butterfly for me. It's actually one of those robot greeters and I turned all the prims inside out and made a car (I made one for Ask Patty a while ago too).

Up at 6:15, then back asleep at 7:30
I went to Motorati to pose this morning - for what I don't know. I like Razen and Atomic, though, so if I'm asked to be there I do. Not that I think I will even show up in the picture since someone stood in front of me, but oh, well. Here's a slanted view:

Did some Patty-filming in Drive In, and the newbies flooded the location. One poor boy kept sending friendship offers and IMs saying "Please be my frand," "If I buy a car will you be my frand?" I didn't have time to help him, or energy to spend on him, or anything. I gave him some landmarks but felt mean for not doing more. I just... couldn't. I could hardly do what I had to do. Caitlin, Enj, and THOMAS were kind to act for me. The blocking the other day was no help to anyone but me, though, it seems, and I had to explain it to Cait as she hadn't been there.
Tiff came over, which was fun.

Never mind.

Busy decking Anchor out as a car salesman. I had to make his nose smaller and now he has lost his appeal for me. I like big noses. When Enjah first met Anchor she spontaneously exclaimed something like, "Holy schnozzola!" or something.
I had to SHOP. Well, not much. And only locally (except for hair but I was in-and-out of a hair shop in under a minute. I hate shopping.
Spent time rehearsing a bit with Enj and Caitlin. Young came over and showed us the Mysterious Dr Fluxus, which was very nice. Salazar came over and we all went to Phobos.
Tiff is coming tomorrow. Between Hotspur unable to get in SL before around... uh... what time was it... 4? and Tiff coming at 5 I think we will only be able to get blocking again, but we need it still.

Sweet!
The AskPatty.com presence in Second Life was blogged again!* I do so appreciate how wonderful the AskPatty women have been to me - I couldn't have asked for better people to work for.
*That is the old first trial version of the machinima, though, which somehow leaked out and is now everywhere, which is a pain.

I've been looking for Patty-type hair, but I hate shopping, so it's been like holding my breath and jumping in the vat of... something unpleasant. Enj came in and took me to a place I did not regard highly at all. I just have ZERO interest in things like that, although I will shop occasionally for animations. I'm interested in making things - I like building, odd projects, creating, art, animating, video editing, being playful. Shopping is horrible. I just don't get it. Am I lacking in girlitude somehow? I just want to go in, get something in 2 seconds, then leave - if I ever actually need anything, which is rare. I haven't bought much during these years in SL, which is neither good nor bad but just reflects the way I am. I value things I make myself.
On Netflix I just watched the U.S. vs John Lennon, which was all right but not very deep. Before that I saw I Heart Huckabees, which was fun but very light unto meaningless. Next: 7Up/7 Plus Seven which I've never seen for some odd reason. This is a good way to fill in gaps in my viewing history.
Onder is participating in Pause to Play next week, which leaves me in charge of SLGames. I hope nothing too bizarre happens.
Saturday Slaughter was all right, and Johannason came and helped slaughter people. We had more watchers than fighters but it's all good.

Avatar customisation rocks in SL.

Drive-Thru Tree in Motorati

I finished this today - the tree (altered a lot to make it even bigger as my Ftutura got stuck yesterday) and the orange on the same parcel. I have to finish the bear. Right now I have:
Giant Potato
Pencil Tree
Dr Brainfreez
Orange
Huge Ball of Twine
Drive-Thru Tree
Gift Shop
Dinosaurs
I ran into Gus, who I met the other day at the gift shop when I was a jackalope. He's Canadian so we had talked about the Arrow (my father was an aeronautical engineer for Avro). Today he fell into a deep hole, which I do think is something Motorati should address - the roads are thin. One can fall in a hole and then be underneath the road (at least you can by the Drive-Thru Tree. Maybe there's a reason, but if I did it I'd make thick roads. Maybe they are going to terraform up after the roads are built - that would make sense, perhaps. In a way. Well maybe not.

I built a gift shop on Motorati today. Actually I built it mainly in Plum as it's hard to work on Motorati - Plum 300m up in the air as griefers attack when I'm on the ground (when I was trying to build the floor and needed to be on the ground someone deliberately ran me over with a car several times while I was eyeballing seams. Yesterday I was handed some parcels to build on and put up the Giant Potato and ice cream cone. Today I built the gift shop and made some souvenirs, and put up the Pencil Tree. I need more land parcels before I can continue. I have (already) the dinosaurs, drive-through tree, chainsaw bear (in progress), orange juice stand, ball of twine. Yesterday Razen told me the Pontiac man gets it and loves the idea - awesome.
