Uh-oh
I'm in trouble for complaining about Downstairs doing laundry at 2am. Him: I'll do laundry when I please and WTH you CCd the landlord??
I knew I'd get in trouble for including the landlord - hah. Not sure exactly why. Am I making too big a deal? It's possible - after all I feel terrible and might have a short fuse.
Oh, well.

Long story, short moral:
In my 1 1/2 room apartment I lived above a couple who played their music so loudly I could not sleep. I banged on the floor, and then typed a message saying "please turn down your music" and slipped it under their door. One of them came up and confronted me, basically saying that I had no right to tell them at what decibel level to play their music, and they went on that way until I moved out.
MORAL: never type when you can scream

God alone knows.
And why do I feel like *I'm* a bad person for complaining? What would happen if I did laundry at 4 or 5 am? Would I feel like a bad person if he complained? Undoubtedly - so basically whatever I do I feel I'm in the wrong (nothing to do with anyone else but me).

dere reaction not da best. WTH can't peoples works togedder - like figure out why dey do at 2 am, and why it a problem for you...gotta be some way to consider each odder. no wonder world is such a mess.
Well, 2am is what is normally considered sleeping time. I was just going to bed, as my sleep has been whacky, and then the noise kept me awake. The washer is fairly noisy.
It seems odd to have to explain why it bothered me. He said, scathingly, "I didn't know the appliances had a curfew," yet actually I DID think the appliances had a curfew. So I suppose I should shut up and not complain about anything since there's no common ground.
